Testimonials

Sue has been my physio for 5 years and how I am now to how I was then is chalk and cheese. Great knowledge and experience. She knows when to push and is always realistic and clear about goals and ways to achieve them. This coupled with her integrity and manner has been instrumental in my progress. I could not recommend her highly enough.

I first met Sue Altham when she was recommended by senior Counsel to form part of a MDT on behalf of a client who had received a brain injury and was left was a multitude of physical and psychological injuries. Within her own field of neuro-physiotherapy, Sue has been instrumental in assisting the client who was unable to walk to walk with assistance and the use of equipment several hundred metres. Outside her field of expertise, she always advances excellent advice in other areas such as selection of personal trainers to help the client develop both fitness and social experience. Throughout my dealings with Mrs. Altham she has always been very professional and understanding of the client`s needs. I would not hesitate to recommend her services.

Sue has a holistic and client centred approach with our client, a young female adult, she works collaboratively with other therapists to ensure smooth and joined up rehabilitation. Sue will gently challenge our client and, in addition to a bespoke home exercise programme, she has successfully encouraged her to try physiotherapy disguised in various activities including cycling, swimming, Tai Chi, Pilates, household tasks and walking the family dog. As our client’s confidence and physical functioning has improved she has undertaken an independent living trial and enjoyed a successful holiday abroad last year with her support workers.
